Who we is and what we do.
We have been paying senior homes for about 3 years now. What began as an informal effort on my part to help my Mom cope with her Alzheimer’s has become an avocation that is getting pretty full time.

In 2014, we played for about 3000 old folks, and the goal of our charity is to get that to 10K in 2016. All in all, things are working swimmingly. The shows are always well received, we feel the work is meaningful for all involved, and we are enjoying the heck out of it.
The goal is to provide as much relief and fun for these folks as we can. To that end, we are incorporating several new elements to our idea, including pets, youthful musicians,“rehearse at the nursing home”, and other ideas and practices geared towards increasing music in nursing homes any way we can. “Bobby and Christine” is a folk duet featuring two voices and one guitar. Our sets are pretty eclectic….lots of harmonies, some fairly serious picking and we do nearly all our own arrangements.
We play original as well as cover music, and we can learn tunes for gatherings as appropriate. We bring our own compact but very effective sound system and have flexible rates.
We can tailor our sets for your needs and can fill the bill fairly readily for everything from background music to a more “feature” performance. We play parties, coffee houses, bars, supper clubs, Farmer’s Markets, old folks homes, business gatherings and many other venues.
