One Vietnam vet, in tears after our show at the Kansas City VA told Christine “it was the only time I have ever felt really good while in a hospital”…and this man had clearly spent some serious time in hospitals.

“Our audiences are a player’s dream. They are attentive, appreciative and often incredibly enthusiastic…it is super motivating, on stage, to realize you can help someone get to a musical space that seems right. For me it is just like being able to go to the park when I was a kid. Ya grab your skates, or your frisbee, you meet up your peeps and you have fun. Together.”

-Bobby

“One of the things we do during a performance, is find ways to engage our audience. A primo way of doing this, and one that some find pretty meaningful, is to do a little good old-fashioned hymn sing.”

-Christine

Hello.

This is a letter of recommendation for Bobby and Christine, who play for our residents regularly.

Our folks love them. Their show is not only lively and played with great care and skill, it is also “highly interactive.” They engage our audience uniquely and with very obvious love of what they are doing. Our residents also get to “be part of the band”, with not just the usual sing-alongs, but they hand out percussion instruments to our folks, and that increases both their participation and enjoyment.

We love them, we have them back all the time, and they are a real treat each time they come.

There were many compliments from residents and family members about the quality of your music.  The guitar was great, the drum, tambourine, and other rhythm instruments added so much.  Your vocal blend, beautiful harmonies, and great song choices made it an outstanding and well enjoyed performance.  We’re thrilled to have you back in December.

Best Regards,

Jeff

To whom it may concern,

I am writing with great enthusiasm to recommend the talents of Bobby and Christine. They play for our group of Veterans at the Minneapolis VA Adult Day Health Care on a regular basis and are always readily received by the program participants.

Bobby and Christine not only play songs that are specific for the demographic/age group at hand but they are also excellent facilitators of a truly interactive experience wherein they pass out percussion instruments to the program participants so they can become part of the show themselves.

We thoroughly enjoy having this talented duo come and share their time with us.

Sincerely,
